Wire & Gas 2024 will host the official launch of Cool Mavericks, the world’s most comprehensive history book on the topic of automotive air-conditioning. The convention will also recognise 30 years of VASA as the voice of our industry.

Keynote discussion: Grant Hand is considered one of Australasia’s leading trainers in vehicle climate control systems. He began his career as a mechanic in his own workshop then spent two decades as a senior lecturer in the TAFE system before founding Automotive Training Solutions to serve demand in the resources sector for training technicians on heavy equipment air-conditioning systems. At Wire & Gas he will share his vast automotive air-conditioning knowledge and reflect on a career that has been pivotal to many working in this industry.
